When You Wake

You wake up and everything around you is so very different, you recognize no one, or even things on the shelves around you. No books seem familiar even the photo frames in which you are pictured are not even familiar to you. You are greeted with warm happy smiles, and yet something seems off to you. Something just isn't right. But you have the desire/need to try and blend in, to just adjust. You pull yourself up from your chair in which you were enjoying a good meal, to be greeted by children in which call you Daddy, and the love they have seems so real that you can not help but hug and feel just an ounce of love back for them.

"Just don't sleep."
